Coins are great investments. There are many ways to invest in coins.
One way is to invest in coins for the metal value. There are precious metals and base metals in coins.
An example of precious metals would be silver or gold, base metal would be copper or nickel.
Another way is to invest in rare coins.
These coins have collector value do to the llimted ammount in exsitance.
What to look for?
You could go to your local coin dealer and pick out a coin. If you are buying for the metal then dont worry about condtion of the coin. You can buy the ugliest scratched up abused silver coin, that is really what you should be looking for becaue that is what you will get the best price on for the silver inside.

American Pennies, one cent pennies!
Pennies made from 1982 and back were made with 95% copper. At the moment the copper value is so high that the pennies are worth 2x to 3x the face value. Although having a few pennies is not worht much, they add up fast and copper has a great potential to sky rocket.
